- The strategy outlines the LEP’s ambition to transform the York and North Yorkshire region into a circular economy by 2030, creating a thriving, competitive, carbon-neutral landscape that benefits businesses, society and the environment.
- In 2019 the LEP commissioned a piece of research to investigate the role of natural capital to the local economy which demonstrated how a robust natural environment contributes towards key sectors, as well as wider economic and social benefits. The outcomes of this study will form the evidence base for the proposed Natural Capital Investment Plan.
