Hub’s Energy Assets Map updated
The North East and Yorkshire’s interactive Energy Asset Map has been fully updated to include new infrastructure which has been announced or become operational in the past year.
We developed the map to help local areas with the development of energy and heat projects by providing a detailed spatial picture of the site and scale of existing and planned energy assets and their relationship with distribution and transport infrastructure to support their strategic decision-making and project development.
The map is a starting point for Local Area Energy Planning, particularly for organisations that don’t have existing access to comprehensive GIS datasets and can be used to identify opportunities and links, and to give local authorities a more comprehensive view of infrastructure in neighbouring authorities.
You can find the map here.
