Net Zero Strategy 2021
In 2021 the UK government published its Net Zero Strategy, setting out the pathway to end the UK economy’s man-made contribution to climate change by 2050.

Building on the Ten Point Plan for a Green Industrial Revolution published in 2020, the Strategy outlines a roadmap to reducing emissions in all sectors of the economy, incorporating transport, housing and power, among others. The Strategy also highlights the 5 regional Net Zero Hubs as key vehicles in delivery of these interventions.

At the heart of the Net Zero Strategy is an unwavering commitment to remove carbon from our power through market-based interventions, all while creating well-paid jobs in innovative new fields.
