Future Energy Landscapes community engagement – detailed training

Join this free training session to learn how to run bottom up community engagement around renewable energy using the Future Energy Landscapes approach developed by the Centre for Sustainable Energy’s (CSE). This bottom-up approach is effective in demonstrating community support for renewable energy deployment, allowing local planning authorities and communities to develop ambitious energy plans and policies.

The training will take you step by step through how to plan and run this approach yourself using CSE’s free resource pack:

• Choosing an area to run your workshop
• Engaging the community
• Preparing and running the workshop
• Consulting the wider community
• Reporting back

The venue, The Watershed is located in central Bristol a 20 minute walk from Bristol Temple Meads train station. (Expensive) underground parking is located at Millienium Square, but we’d encourage you to take public transport if possible.
